Country Advisory Committee Responsibilities

Thank you for your interest in serving as a county advisory member for America250PA.

Note:

County advisory positions are non voting and therefore are voluntary. The Commission is not responsible for any travel costs or expenses not pre-approved by the Chair or Executive Director.

We hope each county advisory committee member will:

• Act as a liaison between America250PA and your county commissioners by reporting activities/opportunities in their regions to the subcommittees for possible engagement
• Promote and attend America250PA county events, deliver information about events and initiatives to the county and residents and local press
  
  
• Help coordinate America250PA sponsored activities, events and projects in your county
  
  
• Form relationships with county organizations and potential nonprofit members and community organizations
  
  
• Provide A250PA with county specific social media content (updates on upcoming county anniversaries/events, county resident shoutouts, etc...)
  
  
• Create an official America250PA County Commission by passing a county resolution (example resolution below)
